A WEDDING OF MAGICAL MEMORIES IN THE SNOW

The Slosek family owns Moors End Farm on Polpis Road and Abby Slosek chose to have a wedding in the winter on February 11, 2017. She knows the beauty of every season on Nantucket, having grown up here. Abby and her groom, Jeff Carlson, embraced the elements of winter to have a real family event to blend their families. Besides, spring, summer and fall are busy seasons for farmers, so, what better time of year to create a relaxed atmosphere for their wedding. They were blessed with a dusting of snow to add sparkle to the event.

The reception was held at the historic Maddequet Admiralty Association in Madaket. All were warmed by the fireside wedding and with the abundance of love from family and friends.
