Liza and James were married in an outdoor ceremony in Sconset with their reception following at the Siasconset Casino.

The couple hit it off immediately when they met for the first time one night in December of 2011, at the Chicken Box. James, originally from England, is a passionate fisherman and diver. Liza grew up summering on the island in Sconset and spent many of her summers during college waitressing on the island. Now both living on the Nantucket year round, they chose to get married here where they have many fond memories.
