  We are travelling from Wales in the UK to marry on Nantucket Saturday 15th October. As we can't be with our friends and family on our special day, we have arranged to visit the webcam after our ceremony to say hi to everyone back home! So at 4pm, Saturday 15th October local time (9pm in the UK), there will be a bride and groom waving frantically at the webcam and I'm sure we'll get some strange looks from passers by... but it will mean a lot to us to link up with everyone back home for a couple of minutes!

  What an incredibly peaceful island. Hard to meet a local - I met 2 very nice ladies from the Vineyard, several Jamaicans and Lithuanians and my taxi-driver was from Bulgaria! Also a guy from Truro further up the Cape. The only true Tuckettian I encountered was the photography guy over at Sanford! :) The food at Cy's on Sth Water St was superlative, especially the topside of beef. Go Wednesdays when its wing night - 10 wings for $2. Bargain. I'll be back, over and over I think, to Nantucket.

  My husband and I had the privilege of living on Nantucket while serving in the US Coast Guard. Living on Nantucket was like a fairy tale. I can't wait for the day when we can return for a visit.   I lived on Nantucket for a while in part of 1975-76. I went to school there. I lived with an Aunt. At that time I had a Grandmother, 3 aunts, 2 uncles and 5 cousins that lived there. Now there are 3 Aunts, 2 Uncles and only 3 cousins. My one Aunt, Myrtle Eldridge had the world's largest bell collection in her addition called "The Belfry" I will visit again someday!

  So I was in Nantucket a month or so ago. My wife found this belt and it had some fish on it, I believe it was blue with a white outline. I am now trying to find this damn belt for her to buy it as a gift. I want to say the company obviously had "fish" in the title but other then that I have no clue the name of it. The store owner said they sell these belts and their other products, ties, etc, in wealthier places such as newport, nantucket and the vineyard. Anyone have any idea on the company?   Friends and I travel to the Cape every 5 years or so. Visited Nantucket on our last trip and got caught in a storm on a beach. We missed the bus and had to walk back. Wet, we sat for hours in a restaurant and they were very nice to us. I hope to visit Nantucket this June.
